Shouldn't game admins be able to check for collusion here since allies aren't allowed on express?

My theorycrafting:
~$4b stock = ~$20m nw destock.
This is doable on a 6k acre all-x ttr. (What I did 2 sets ago on my first time back, and I missed quite a chunk of turns!)

If you're grabbing, given you can store lotsa turns on express which improves efficiency, and there are bots to safely farm (new learning lol), you can probably get 12-13k acres in the same time or less (~$8b stock).

Given you can boost private market via oil instead of waiting for it to replenish (another new learning lol), you can actually spend turns to the end. (Prob the additional ~$2b)

That ~$10b stock = ~$50m nw destock. Then you can do reselling on top of it to get the last couple million nw.

Feels completely doable (not easy though). Fact that you're not overly reliant on private market replenishment via time/turns or on public market liquidity means it's more consistently repeatable, too. -Shrugs-

Ah interesting! Why would you sell food as a Monarchy instead of Fascist? Actually. why wouldn't you just sell the food as an H at higher private market price?
(I'm assuming you meant grow as an F, switch to M to dump food stockpile, and then to H to destock on private?)

Farmer? Oiler? Is this related to the ability to use oil to destock on private now? (I'm guessing that's the land dropping strat?)

(Again, I haven't played in 10 years so genuinely trying to understand. Don't remember "grabbing netgaining Fascist" being a thing people ran back then - at least not so many people at the same time.)

Not sure who you were, but I saw someone running a kill run on another country that died. The dead country basically multi-tapped many human countries multiple times a day. Even when these countries retaliated, the dead country still multitapped the same countries. lol

I only found out about the bots and the 'grabbing etiquette' towards the end of the set. Man, those are some weird new rules!

i've got 16 points but can't seem to click the free permanent gdi bonus..

Is there a cap to these bonuses? Like how many resource decays can you pile up before it stops? And does this just affect food decay?

And does luck affect explore rates or increases all the boom and missile rates too? And what about the old "mehul factor" in land grabs?

Farmer: All x - Rep or Demo?, Grabbing - Fasc

Are the above combinations still the standard cookie-cutters? (If someone can answer the question marks or give more insight would be great.)

Yea, am pretty happy with SKA performance after what happened earlier on.. We were set on 5, and ended up with 4, of which 1 turned out to be inactive.. which leaves us with only 3 people who are playing, one of which had a bout of terrible luck early on but stuck on til the end. Kudos to raheel! I had played a terrible finish (couldn't login as planned on the last day, which derailed my initial destock plans). Great job to Daniel for 1st place! Very nice finish. (:

And, well played finished by DBD. Almost got the whole team in top 10! (:

I have a couple of suggestions.. here goes:

=Game structure=
What we could do is maintain this like upper tourney.. 1 top game (A), 2 lower games (B&C).

Cycle it so only the top 50 stay within game A, and the rest get split evenly between B and C.

For B & C, the top 25 get to game A.

This makes it 100 players in game A, and 75 players in B and C each (total of 250 players).

=Public Market=
Make all of these share the same market.. (Its already so small anyways.)

With so little people, there really is no point to splitting it up further.

=Game Play=
With less players (even last time, 2A alone had 229 players with the bottom 40-60 inactive usually I'd reckon?), I do think we need to keep land transfers alive.

1) Reinstate free GDI: This forces midfeeding = More land transfer

2) Enhanced ghost acres: Need to create land in some way.

3) Attacks limited to SS/PS: Most of the time, it is near-impossible to kill another player with 1 country under your control and with no 'external help' anyways; so if someone's looking to war, he should head over to alliance. So let's make this a pure grab-fest kinda server. (Land kill's are impossible with the new ghost acre rule, where you lose less, am I right?) Declare war and missiles should be removed too.

4) Make it a 1b limit. This would really force players to use the market to stock, and hence we would be able to artificially bump up volume in the market?

5) Enhanced explore rates. This is part of the idea to make land abundant.

6) Remove all Relations. There would be no FAs or pacts of any kind.

=Conclusion=
I hope that with the above, what we get is a true and more competitive grabbing environment. Without 'declare war' and with permanent free GDI, one can only midfeed; this removes all topfeeding worries and bottom feeding woes. Without special attacks, the only thing you can do if you get grabbed is retal. The only way to prevent retals is either 1) shrink to 50% of your opponent's size (unlikely), 2) outgrow the other country like crazy. With enhanced explore rates and enhanced ghost acres, we should get a lot of land in game.

With a lot of land, we had a lot more production and consumption, which is demand & supply of the public market. With the 1b limit put in place, most of the cash must be stored in the market and so we should get a good level of public market activity and volume on the small player base.

Ok, so what do you guys think?
The game structure can be re-organised as more players get into this.
