i checked both their news and from what i can tell, they have only been hitting bots and taking retals on attacks which was done to them first.

with the current climate of things, i would agree.

farmers would need a bigger player base and cashers just needs less morons and griefers.

i see 3 big techers up there. gonna be hard for any these 3 to break 50m i feel as they are competing against each other to destock.

i think you should stick to a techer for an oil destock.

its hard for a casher to be able to find that excess cash early and mid set to stock oil. all the excess cash goes into tech. the difference between 170% and 150% mid game is huge. at 170%, you do not need to cash extra turns to finish building your acres.

plus, with all the crazies and dumb SS that puts targets into DR oblivion nowadays, you'll need weapons tech to help deter topfeeds early on and mil strat to optimize your grabs.

for myself, i would aim to get to 25-30k land by turn 900-1000 then max out my tech and sit at 20m turrets by turn 1100-1200. to achieve this, i'll need the stars to align as well... hahaha.

only came very close to this so far in my 5-6 sets back with a theo for the fast bpt (i was at 100 bpt) and it wasn't done perfectly as i was still quite fresh from a very long break. only managed to reach 30k at 1100 turn i think.

quite dangerous to play theo (because of the low max weapons tech) and aim for that kinda acres with topfeeders around though. would have to sit at 20m turrets instead of a usual 10m (which is more than enough for a normal game) during stocking which effectively shaves off 4-6m nettworth at least.

you don't have to waste time and target them. just leave them be. just adjust your game play as best you can and consider them NPCs. after i got hit last set, i just sold down my turrets to reduce upkeep and increased cash per turn. still lost a chunk of nettworth but managed a decent finish. :D

if it gets too much, take a break from the game, hope that the game admins make adjustments (PS strength in this case i feel) and come back after a bit.

if no adjustments are being made, the topfeeding NPCs are still here and no signs of anything from the admins to address this matter is announced by the time you come back, then just look for another game to play cause this means that the admins doesn't care about the game or server at least. when admins don't bother to address issues voiced by the players, the game will die sooner or later so might as well go play a better game earlier and have less stress. :D

classes starting 3 hours before the set ends really screws things up. lol. i wouldnt know which strat wouldnt require you to be there during that last 3 hours. ahhaha.

also, you should've sold 10m of that oil to me. i had 3b cash on hand with more behind waiting to buy them at 100ish. :P

its not that hard to find CX really but i wouldnt share how here. there will be some griefers lurking. :P

i totally screwed up this set. was targeting 30k land. went straight to 380 CS right off the bat cause market conditions were excellent for a casher at the beginning but everything suddenly got SSed into DR oblivion. couldnt find any decent targets.

when i forcefully grew enough to hit the bigger targets which arent so deep in DR, the market spiked.... lol

ahha... he didnt move during the last few mins. wonder if he still had fund and turns which he didnt bother running... >.<

DR applies to spy ops as well. unlike normal DR, for spy ops makes it harder to succeed the ops.

the missiles you can have in your country at any one time is directly related to your country's land size.

even at max tech for SDI, its still only 90% (98.9% for demo). 1 out of 10 missiles will still get in.

players like CX, erbert, LATC, mountain yeti... etc.

how about bonus points? was just looking at it and i saw a defense bonus... 16 bonus points for 1%.... why the heck is that even there?! lol

why not change that to 8 bonus points for 2%. every time you take another def bonus with the bonus points it goes up by an additional 2%. so 1st click 2%, second click 4%, third click 6%, fourth click 8% fifth click 10% giving you a total of 30% total def bonus spread over a period of 5 days.

so the max you can get at for example the 3rd day will be 12%. if you decide to put the bonus points of the first 2 days into GDI, then on the 3rd day, you'll only be eligible for 2%.

or something along those lines. :D

also... these records are for the sets with bots. i played during times when there were no bots. a 30m nett was a big deal and a guaranteed win then.

yes trumpoz, commies stock on turns instead of food or cash. yes, they have anywhere between 3-7m jets throughout the set until they jump. yes, having 20m jets/turrets hinders growth.

question, can a commie use some of the turns he stocked up to pump jets and start topfeeding every single top 25? that was my point. a commie can produce way more units to topfeed if they wanted.

only reason why tyr techer is always chosen to do these topfeed is because they cause the most dmg and extremely easy to pull off. as long as you're not a rainbow player, you'll be able to do it.

he (#13) most certainly can play this game like anyone else that created an acc but he just ain't really very good at it. anyone can build a all jetter tyr techer with 15-20m jets. heck, i get that amount in turrets every set to fend off the all jetters and still finish ok.

also, top commies finish the set with way more than 20m jets. thats with 15-20m turrets as well. they dont go hitting all the top countries because they can. they understand that anyone who really wants to can but it wont do themselves any good in terms of winning the set.

i call you good when you need to balance everything including the morons and still finish tops consistently.

all that crazy SS putting all bots into DR oblivion, then hitting players because you ran out of targets, then trying to outrun retals really pushed up unit prices. the DR also allows the bots to really grow and have the cash to buy more tech and units which in turn increases the market prices even more! lol

oiler doesn't work in express because...

1. player pool in express is wayyyy too small in express. (especially when you factor in bots that produce oil and also the fact that they don't use oil at all because they don't attack. )

2. every barrel fuels too many units (25 units).

you run oiler in bigger servers where wars happen all the time then ratio of rigs to farm depends on the demand.
