Because IMP is big and strong, they absolutely can bully small tags like you if they want. They just did it wrong here. The way I would have done it is by killing you immediately tbh. That's likely what will happen next set before you even realize they know who you are... And without restart bonus, I expect you will quit the server.

This is what irritates me most about this game. All the whinging and whining over land grabs. Back in the day when the game was seriously great, a landgrab was a landgrab, not an act of war. The problem seems to be that the informal rules applied to the game by a bunch of seriously entitled fluffes who think that they should be able to have zero defenses, and still be able to keep huge amounts of land is ridiculous.

If you can't take a hit and give one in return, then LEAVE THE fluffING GAME, PUSSIES!

Dude you do not need to retal with the country that was hit, but i would strongly suggest doing the retal on the country that did the grab and not the fattest country in the string or killing the fattest country in a string without doing some FA first.

But if you like meaningless wars, most strings are happy to oblige. Beats netting.

"be in a state of rivalry" - who were you the rival of? Even Derrick gets better finishes than you. He took a 15 year break, plays on a cell phone, and doesn't only "net" when the whole server is at war. That's at least the baseline for being a competitive player. Sad.
