Yeah, honestly though... I can say I am not impressed with the new Slim models, they still do virtually everything the models that came out in the fall quarter of 2007 did, but then again, I prefer having one system that plays PS3, PS2 and PS1 games instead of three separate systems, like mine. :P

you don't need 3 seperate systems, the ps3 plays psx games. so does the ps2.

i duuno when they are gonna upgrade the ps3's software for ps2 games, probably when the base model ps3 is comparable in price to a new ps2 lol

i never thought i would say this.. but sony needs to fix the PSN, the fanboys are actually coming outside now and most of them are fluffing scary.

oh, and they smell like fluff too.

Meh, I just got netflix which I can still watch on my ps3 with the network down so whatevs. I also have a ton of single player games (and ps3 exclusives) that are awesome on their own and good time wasters while psn is down.

Hopefully it's being rebuilt better, stronger, faster, HARDER

I heard someone hacked the PS network...

And I also heard that Sony had servers in Japan thats why their network is down. Which is it I don't use my PS3 it just sits there lol XBox is better I think.

Yeah, they hacked the developers network and were able to download things for free from the PS Store and get people's account information so they shut it down and are re-building it I believe.

im on my 7th xbox, the hardware may be garbage but i'll buy 100 more befoe i consider buying a playstation lol (the newer ones have much better hardware by the way lol)

also, you can either pay a small fee for a great online experience, or pay nothing for garbage online experience, which at the moment doesent work at all lol.

I've never had any problems with PSN up till the recent hacking escapade and even through this I have no desire to switch to X-Box. I've gotten 3 years of solid gaming fun from it while only paying the base $399 I dropped on it for an original 80g fatty and I hope that at least doubles before I have to spend another dollar on it. But alas, fanboys will be fanboys. ;)

had a ps1, skipped over ps2 and went for ps3 because i played xbox at a whole bunch of friends houses (who now all play online together while i sit here typing this :P) and i could never stand the controller. you can get thinner ones, i realize, but ps3 has been great fun.

(and i have no interest in paying a cent for online gaming.. i do play earth, after all :P)

I still have my original PS3, I upgraded it from an 80Gb to a 250Gb this weekend. Now it fluffing rocks! Plus, backwards compatibility. So much more better than the new slims. ;)

was never big into the smash bros... ill beat that ass in pokemon snap though! lol

never upgraded to any of the newer game systems... latest one i have is a ps2 and i hardly ever play a game on it, may watch a movie from time to time with it though

i spend most of my extra money on ruffies to drug men and women so that i can use them as giant puppets and recreate awesome plays and ballets for me and my imaginary friends...

im so much out of practice with all the new games, i cant keep up when i do happen to play one, because about a month ago i played black ops for the first time... just because i was with a group of friends smoking a couple blunts... then they started playing, so i took a turn

totally got my face raped... ended up with 0 kills... but 1 assist!

it was on a free for all game, so they said that is tough for a beginner... but i think they were just being nice :P

i had my first xbox since like 06... only recently upgraded to a slim in december. never red-ringed and definitely worth the online memories...

never thought of a ps3 as anything but a glorified blu-ray player... its about as cheap as one too LOL

think i may get myself one this summer

1at gen ps3 plays psx and ps2 games but not gens after that cause sony is cheap bastard and took support for those away.

Well we get to pick 2 of 5 games for free, and get two months of PS+ for free. Not bad:)

Games are LBP1, inFamous, Dead Nation, Wipeout HD, and Super Stardust. A pretty solid list..

I'm probably gonna get Wipeout and either inFamous or Dead Nation as I've heard great things about all of those.. and already have LBP2.

never played mario cart on wii, only N64. Back when gamecube, ps2 (i think) and the first x-box came out. I went from nintendo to xbox, cause the game cube just looked silly, and I hated the ps controller, I was much happier with the bulky xbox controller.

meh I sitll think the playstation network is better, xbl could have got hacked just as easily. I'm guessing the only reason they didn't is because the states has so many xbox fanboy's and that is most likely where the person who hacked the psn is from.
