would be good if you can do sorting on the columns(like from smallest to biggest) and maybe add in a column for nw/land

how often would this list be updated? are the countries extracted directly from eestats?

some of the figures dont tally with mine. ><

ranks page is updated every ten minutes
while news is every minute.

19.8 for DH makes no sense. 18 is 100% send, 19.8 is 10% oversend. if they sent 10% oversend they wont DH

it should be halflife regular = 20
halflife bounce = 18

you did 22 for oversend, which means 22/18 = 22% oversend. thats a lot

haven't factored in dh yet in the calcs

just let me guys know which value for halflife to use and the one for dh

18. anything over 18 hours is more likely to be a success than a DH.

and 22 is still high for regular half-life i think, unless you really think people oversend by over 20% often? ever?

So, is it correct that a DH on SS/PS adds DR (of <18 hours) to the target, but a DH on an AB/BR/GS does not and a missile doesn't add DR success or fail (but all other attacks do add DR if successful)?

Also, if the outgoing attacks remove DR, does that removed-DR-length also vary depending on how much they send? I guess it would but it doesn't seem like it needs to. Then again none of this variation from the base half-life really seems at all necessary.

Too confusing to try and calculate it out. Unless eestats somehow figures it out, Imma just guesstimate my targets DR and hope for the best. What a terrible change to the server.

Usually easier is better. If you gotta do so much calculator work and spreadsheet filling in between running turns, it ceases to be a fun game, and becomes a chore. Nobody wants a frustrating unpaid 2nd job.

I think he just wants it to be as much like eestats as possible :P probably will want a country # column as well. As long as people are nitpicking, i think it's better if when you click something, news defaults to all set, not last 72 hours. I can't think of any reason I'd only want to see last 72 hours and I don't like having to pick the all-set dropdown every time. The last thing I thought I'd mention is that there's a key up top, showing different colors for countries that are in protection/dead/deleted etc, but every country looks the same color to me. Overall though, I think it's basically great how it is, and think we're all very lucky you made this and made it public for us

no problem, i'm glad i could contribute to the game and to the community in a small way.

about the country number, i suppose it would be better to place it closer to the country name as possible

as with the attack time drop down, it is coming from the alliance server use-case, where in most of the time you'd want to see first if you've been hit the last 72 hours so you know you have pending retal/s to take. i'll wait for some more feedback before doing any change to the default time :)

i temporarily removed the countries that are dead, deleted and still in protection. messes up the sorting. i'll put them back in as an option tho, in just a while.

I like the all set time as well. The 72 hr thing doesn't make sense in Primary (still don't understand why it would make sense in Alliance too actually, unless you haven't logged in in days?.

Because the estimated DR by lenshark is probably less than the actual DR. Lenshark used 20 hours halflife, which is roughly a 111% oversend. Most people probably oversend much higher than that, particularly if it is a blind or estimated grab.

So, what, you'd prefer a 20.5 hr half-life? A 21 hr half-life? That's not going to actually change what the DRs appear as by anything noticeable. Btw, 10% over 18 is 19.8. So 20 gives a little cushion... 20 certainly accurately accounts for my attacks better than higher numbers would.

Not in my experience or grabs so far. 22 hours is probably a better estimate. Or set a textfield that a person can key in this halflife.

22 hours? So you think on average people oversend by 22%? Hell, even if they did, the difference between 20-hr half-life and 22 hour half-life is not a serious distinction. When the 20 hr half-life is down to 0.5 DR, the 22 hour half-life is down to 0.55. No real difference...
