target selection, particularly early in wars is so important in this version of the game with the numbers where they are. if you run into a few countries walling or kill a few countries that were not even impactful in the war, that is enough to tilt the outcome of the war by day 3 or 4 of the war.

furthermore, some of the tactics to garner those kills on the high priority targets and knowing when/how to employ them was learned over years of many lost and some won battles. a lot of the learned skills were learned just experimenting with ideas during the long drawn out wars.

It was also "intended game design" to not have members have access to the game database, but Total Cheater exploited that game function too.

As long as this game design promotes clans splitting off to smaller clans to exploit the design its a dead game dying faster than it was pre-clan gdi

if a clan is engaged in a war, are other clans prohibited from warring them?


for example, clan of 30 people declares on clan of 9 people to shake them down of money late in the set. but clan of 9 people don't want to give in to that jackwagonry and have 2 different clans of 9 people willing to take on that 30 clan as a group, is that possible? or is it 1 clan at a time?

Can confirm this. And that is probably the biggest contributor to BlackHole getting all the fluff he got. He was a visible target and we really didn't have beef with LaF just at war with them.

That people didn't actually really have beef with LaF, they came back to war. You were the vocal one, so you became the target instead of what should have been LaF/LaF leadership if everybody was anti-laf like they are claiming, and ran to the Devs about to change the game. Instead of doing politics with the other players.

It means you just got caught in the middle at the wrong place and the wrong time. Not because people actually had beef with you, just that it was a matter of convenience, more or less.

That's what Derrick was saying. That people don't hate laf, but laf leadership seriously dropped the Foreign relations ball, like, didnt even try to mend fences and are now crying that the remaining players in the game are anti-laf when they arent, for the most part.

LaF was never at 2-3. They took the remainder of the reset off, or went into other clans to lazy net because they got killed after they FSd oop.

I am confused about this "LaF was just going to be a target until run from the game" narrative. That is some serious propaganda going on inside LaF if the rank and file bootlickers STILL don't know that a 6 reset pact was already signed to prevent that from happening by the coalition and LaF prior to the last min clan gdi implementation.

The grudge war was over. It already ended and both sides pacted out for 6 resets to let things cool down.
