I was having the same problem with Alliance and Team server.

To get around it, I had to click the forum link, then once on the forum list, click Play, and then from there it would work.

If I went to http://www.earthempires.com and tried to enter from there, it would not work and it's been doing this for the last ~6 hours..

I don't know if this has been suggested already, but excuse me if it has..

Why don't we make it so that countries in the same tag cannot landgrab or attack another country in the same tag.

Of course, if someone goes on a farming/suiciding spree, it's own alliance would be able to boot the country out of the tag before killing the country before it could cause more problems.

Also, if a member of an alliance was quitting, all they would have to do is have a few people lined up to take his land a few seconds after he/she detags.

Granted I've only thought about it for a few minutes, but I can't see any reason as to why this shouldn't be enacted.

If the loss (even 14%) of missiles is supposed to happen with a gov switch - the missiles should damage your country in regards to what type they are. That'd be cool :)

Aka, switching govs with a bunch of nukes on hand? Then the nukes go off and damage your country. Maybe not to the full affect that it would have if someone else shot it at you, but it should do some damage

A bunch of termites :( I put out glue traps to hopefully control them, but they're now already full. Between the 12 glue traps I have placed around the place, there's probably 300-400 stuck termites on them.

The maintenence people have been slow getting around to actually doing anything, so tomorrow, I go down to their office and bring the glue traps with me. Maybe seeing them filled with dead insect bodies will get them to do something about this..

This is the... atleast 3rd time this unit has had problems with termites.. last 2 times they took down and rebuilt 2 whole walls.

Gimme a brick house, damnit!

edit: they were swarmers at first, but by now (day 5 of spanish termite inquisition) the termites have followed and are now chomping on cellulose :)
